Dixon Technologies' subsidiary Padget Electronics will manufacture Xiaomi smartphones at its new Noida factory. The facility, set up with a Rs 256 crore investment, has an annual production capacity of 25 million units. The inauguration was attended by IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who praised the facility as a significant step towards boosting local smartphone manufacturing in India. The partnership between Dixon Technologies and Xiaomi is expected to leverage their respective expertise and contribute to India's emergence as a smartphone manufacturing hub.
