The media was abuzz with the Zuckerberg couple’s presence at the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant pre-wedding bash at Jamnagar in March 2024. The billionaire techpreneur and his philanthropist wife were the darling of desi netizens as they posed for shutterbugs in traditional Indian attires. However, this was not their first Indian wedding. Facebook’s former top executive Aditya Agarwal and Ruchi Sanghvi’s Goa wedding in 2010 was the first ever desi shaadi Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan attended.

There are no pictures of the event available online on either of them’s public profile, except for a 2015 Diwali post by Zuck, where he shared one of the wedding pics. The Facebook boss is seen in Sherwani for the event. Per reports, several Facebook executives flew to Goa for the wedding, including former co-founders Adam D’Angelo and Dustin Moskovitz. Aditya had joined the company as one of the early engineers. He is now a VC and co-founder of two startups. An avid football and cricket fan, Aditya Agarwal was the CTO of Dropbox (Feb 2012 - 2019), the co-founder of Cove (Jan 2011 - Feb 2012), and Director of Engineering at Facebook (August 2005 - Dec 2010), where he worked on Facebook search, NewsFeed, Places, and several other features. His first gig was as a Software developer at Oracle (August 2004 - July 2005)
